i saw it last night and it blew me away for sure.
both films were great, but i liked planet terror more. all of the faux trailers ruled too, but thanksgiving definitely took the cake. i don't want to give away any spoilers for those that have not seen it, but this film definitely has enough gore, scantily clad ladies, and sketchiness to satisfy even the most lowbrow of tastes. pretty much...if you don't like grindhouse, you don't know how to have fun. |

I saw the sneak preview of it. It was supposed to get a NC-17 rating because the of the Thanksgiving trampoline part, but they slightly edited it.
The second film was seriously a rip off of Faster Pussycat! Faster! Faster! by Russ Meyer. Actually, I'm pretty sure Tarintino had been watching a fuckload of Meye movies while putting that film together. |
