So if I got this straight... Deathstar was on stage talking about religion and one of the Gather dudes was flipping him off and booing during his speech? Reeeeaaaal mature. If that is the case I'm glad someone tried to make him stop. It just sucks that is excalded into fight.

Dude, no doubt, but hating god > loving god any day, and if there are any situations in which making fun of Christians isn't 100% appropriate and awesome (and there aren't), I'd say a punk or metal show would be at the VERY bottom of the list...Especially if the christians in question are in a band called "x" "Deathstar" "x."

It's meant it more like... I've seen that Gather band at Gilman and they preach A LOT. Like veganism and anti Bush shit etc Non stop. No one heckled them for their shit and I'm sure if someone did they would get butt ass hurt. So like if this was some random dude heckling Deathstar I would be into it based on the lol factor but the fact that it was the drummer of Gather (a band who is known to preach a bunch of shit no one wants to hear) made it stupid.

Also this is before I knew Deathstar actually made people get on their knees and pray at a show prior to this. I kind of wanted to retract my statement after I found that out.

That shit was taken way out of proportion. Dude was talking shit (Gather) and some FSU guy told him to shut up and put his finger in the dudes face and the gather dude smacked his finger out of the way and said fuck you. So he got punched a couple of times and the Gathe chick (as all of them do made it worse) hit him with a bottle and it got broken up and the FSU guy's GF started to beat the Gather chic up and it was broken up. No one went to the hospital. And before any FSU starts shit is said only one of them was involved and the other dudes were breaking it up.

And I still like Earth Crisis. Good shit. I'm not into the whole vegan shit but i like alot of their shit up till Breed The Killers. Firestorm is the shit. Good set by them. Retaliate was bad ass and so was Force Of Change. Everything else sucked. except the dude getting head upstairs in front of everyone and me and duffy were the only dudes that saw it along with 3 other dudes but there was like 49 people up there and we only saw that shit lol
