I think they're doing HC shows now because all the ex hardcore kids who are now hipsters are trying to relive their past. haha

not into this band. but i'm pretty sure the average person already thinks current hardcore kids are "hipsters" before they become ex-hardcore kids. also, an argument could quite easily be made that being a straight edge kid into st. vitus is about as authentic as being a "hipster".

i'm not hating, and i don't care about authenticity. i'm just saying that you guys are casbah-going "hipsters".

ive been to a couple shows at the casbah, worst place obv

flipper with some dri ripoff band
germs, adolescents, battalion of saints and spencer
nomeansno and some jerk bands
battalion of saints and some jerk bands
aggrolites and some jerk bands
and northern towns once.

i think this makes me more of a bar punk patron than a hipster

the one time i saw iron age it was with mind eraser... but also, with sex vid, some mark mccoy band and at a bar that has dj nights 7 days a week, that this guy owns:

so... it might be possible that you guys are into a "hipster" band, instead of the other way around.

I've never been to Casbah and everytime I see there's a show there I give it a thought and then I decide on not going.
