I just got word that there is an opportunity for some of the newer Chula Vista hardcore bands to possiblity be highlighted on Double Cross webzine and or the likes thereof. Apparently people on the east coast have been buzzing with positive energy about the Amenity write up and want to know whats going on in Chula Vista now. There is an opportunity for you to make connections and to have your story told as to what is going on in the Chula Vista and surrounding areas now. Mike and Tim are more than willing to work with you should you want to take it to that level; its up to you to want it. Or you can pm and I can give you the necessary information. With that said your city has been higlighted again in the most recent write up on SD Dialed in and the Amenity show that took place at the Gilman in Berkely with pictures and it tells the story from a totaly different perspective without prodding. People are showing Chula Vista and San Diego alot of love right now and theres an opportunity for you to build on it. Instead of hating, theres a chance for you have your voice heard. I really liked what I saw last year at the CV hardcore fest. Ive seen Take Offense several times and always enjoy the vibe; good attitude and they carry themselves well. I like the newer bands too and now I know there are some new ones since then. I got to see your band crime desire last year and had fun.
Somewhere in between my meditation retreats, my wife and I chasing after my two year old son and near death experiences on the job with psychiatric clients, i definatley hope to get around to seeing these bands again and the newer ones as well.
