HAHAHA sorry. I don't like saying "spinning records," and it's only used in reference to DJ'ing (I'm obviously not Kid Millionaire). Do people say, "I stayed home and spun my records all night," or "I stayed home and played my records all night?" I absolutely need to know the proper verbiage just in case this happens again in the near future.

Whats wrong with saying, "spinning records"? Because you are spinning records, really, and are doing so for the enjoyment of others in attendance. Now, if you are at home, then I would opt to say, I stayed home and listened to records.
