UC Berkeley is doing a program this year where they are asking their freshman students to give them a DNA sample. The point is to check the students' DNA "because students with certain genetic markers may be able to lead healthier lives by drinking less, avoiding dairy products or eating more leafy green vegetables." I'm going to be a freshman at UC Berkeley next year and my DNA testing kit came in the mail today. Should I go through with it or not? I don't want to be put in some government database and cloned in 45 years for breeding purposes or something like that. ![]() Last edited by SHITSTAINED : 07-20-2010 at 03:47 PM. |

My friend did the one that's like co owned by Google or something. It gave him results about diseases he might be prone to etc. I forgot most of it. While it was pretty fucking cool... I would never do it. Google aint touching my DNA.
