Warzone March 27 San Diego, CA Showcase Theater

What year was that? 1997? I think it was but I cant find any info about it. Can anyone give me any conformation on that? I remember that I had a flier for that show at that time but it was ripped to shreds by my niece who was a baby at the time and totally destroyed my flier collection at that time. It would have been on a Thursday at that time hence not being able to go during a school night. The reason why I ask is because I bought a tour shirt here in Japan and I just want to figure out what year this shirt was. Plus it has to be around that time since San Diego Showcase wasnt around very long and changed its name from The World Beat Center to The Showcase theater that year, if Im not mistaken.

Any help from the old dudes...much appreciated.

I think it was 96 cuz I didn't drive yet. Warzone was supposed to play Santa Barbara but it got shut down and I couldn't get a ride to Corona so I never saw them. Epic bummer.

Anyone else wanna chime in? It could be 96 but I really think its 97 because the showcase wasnt in SD until 97. I could be totally wrong but yeah. Thanks Zack!

I could easily be wrong too, but the first Showcase Corona show I went to was SOIA/AFI/Strife/Good Riddance and I think that was Jan 97 and I went to pretty much all the big shows there from there on out. First time I ever remember going to SD Showcase was for that daytime Rev show with Battery/Ten Yard Fight.

didnt see warzone but saw a good number of raging shows at the sd showcase.

I used to work there (Showcase Theatre) and I'm pretty sure it was '97 but my memory is fuzzy. I know the guy who roadied for them on that tour so I'll hit him up.

definitely '97...showcase SD didn't happen until 97 and that was when I moved back to SD, and I used to do a Goth night there for about a year.

Werd. Thanks for the info. Got a tour shirt here in Japan for $10. Im sure its a boot though...
