Hahahahahahhaha! I cant wait!!! FUCKING NIGHTMARE!!!! I got a deal on the bullet train to Tokyo and Im going to be hanging out with Masaki from Kriegshog all day then straight to the show. Arhahrhahrhharhhahrhahrhahrha!

Before the show I met up with Masaki in Akihabara and ate some fucking sushi at a standing only sushi bar. I tried a new kind of sushi that has got to be my new favorite. Engawa aburi. Shit is soo fucking tasty. Then we went off to Koenji to lurk at record shop Boy. They got a ton of shit that is soo cheap compared to ebay prices. I think people in Japan have all these rare records for cheap but dont flip them on ebay for a profit cuz that isnt what its about and I respect that. Old flexis going for like $15-20 bucks and really way too many records to name. I recently picked up The Comes - No Side LP here in Toyama but it didnt have an insert. I coulda swore that when I looked at it over the summer it had one but I guess it didnt. So, I saw another copy at Boy and the guy said that it was an unplayed copy. Shit was like brand new! I picked that up as well as their 2nd LP - Power Never Die. That record is a really strange but fucking AWESOME blend of HC punk and metal. People say that it was a bad metal record but Masaki and I gave it a spin before heading out to the show and we fucking loved it! I suggest you check it out and give it a listen if you can find it.

So yeah, about the show...my fucking ears are still ringing.

Life opened it up and fucking destroyed. The bass player kept on attacking the audience and shit it was rad!

Crossface was driving hard. Did more drinking that watching them but I did manage to check out the last 3 or 4 songs. I think one of the members of Crossface had there kids at the show. they were on the band side of the barrier and they had major ear protection like Spence has at shows.

Isterismo was like being drenched in noise. It really felt so good to be at a show since it happens so rarely for me. The singer was a maniac and was swinging fist at the front of the crowd. The bass player for that band was going nuts too.

Nightmare was sick but they played more shit from the Scatteraw era shit. I really wanted them to play a few older songs but whatever. They still rule but I have to say that Life and Isterismo stole it and fucking killed it.

I doubt that I will be going back to Tokyo anytime soon since Im going to be moving so I was really glad to have dished out the money to go there one last time for a show and to hang out with Masaki for his birthday.

Oh yeah, I picked up a Life shirt and Masaki gave me 3 Kriegshogs shirts. What a guy!

If any of you guys are going to Chaos in Tejas Isterismo will be playing as well as Kriegshog. The original guitar player for Kriegshog wont be playing so the guitarist for Isterismo will be doing double duty. Oh, and his girlfriend is super cute too.
