i was sitting outside with the dogs while valerie was ordering her coffee and these two young kids with plugs in their ears were sitting at the table next to me. i guess he saw the tattoo on my leg (the one of the cover of the salad days book), then asked me if i was a vocalist and if i was into punk. i thought he was going to tell me about his band looking for a singer or something along those lines. then he asked if i knew battalion of saints, to which i basically replied "fuck yeah I do"...haha. that was when he told me that george anthony was his dad. he was saying how he was bummed that his dad just moved up to long beach, but they were taking the train up there to see battalion of saints this weekend or something. then i was asking about the current line-up for the band...i don't think any of the heroin/clikitat guys are playing with them anymore because he listed off some other names. really random encounter...ha.

That same night after we covered Doomed World, random older dude comes up to me and tells me some thing like;
"Dude, that was badass, I just called George and told him you guys do a cover"
