Bordertown: Laredo
Fuckin dvr'ing this shit right now. Laredo is a nice place if you're ok with the heat and eating tacos all the time. It's funny to see how bad of a rap this place gets because it's not San Diego.
Also, people in Laredo are fat as shit. They should make a show on obesity based out of Laredo.

When I saw Bordertown in the thread title I immediately thought of Mad Max and Tina Turner. Oh yeah, and Corkey playing Blaster. I need to rent that movie...

That show is funny as shit. Those Hispanic cop dudes are so stoked to be on TV.
Laredo is weird as fuck though. Been here a month and while it's a fairly large city (and has a fucking minor league hockey team... weird) there's really nothing to do other than eat sushi and tacos. Most people seem to just kinda chill at home or drink at Chili's or Applebees. The crime and violence is definitely blown out of proportion. I have not seen or heard anything bad going on here. Maybe it's because I don't buy drugs. People are nice as shit even if they mostly speak Spanish and laugh at me when I say no habla Fernie. In SD everyone drives 10 miles over the speed limit. In South Texas everyone drives 20 miles under or 20 miles over the speed limit and fast lanes are non existent.
