i forgot that el torito on bay blvd. still exists. i drove by it a couple weeks ago and the parking lot was full.
not related, but also near bay blvd:
South Bay Fish & Grill (ex-Jakes, ex-Bob's on the Bay) could be the pride of chula vista, if it had better service and got a better rep etc.. that place is gigantic and the interior is fuckin sick. I wanna open up a restaurant now. since Calley is the only chef I know, she can cook.. and any of you with a "z" in your last name are welcome to wash dishes.
